Curious ‘lil ant
Inspecting my meal, why leave?
“To return with more.”

A simple haiku for your Tuesday enjoyment.  I also incorporated a conversation-poem element into the mix.  I muse on the idea of the narrator or poet speaking with nature, and nature speaking back in the form of conversation or inspiration.  This poem also beckons our understanding of the insect world and science.  Some ant species send out a forager in search for food, when it finds it, then leaves a pheromone trail back to the colony where other ants can collect the food and bring it back.  Amazing creatures!
